Biography
Professor of foreign languages at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD), where she coordinates the research line on plurilingual education. Her work focuses on translanguaging pedagogies in public higher education and on the design of curricula that recognise students' full linguistic repertoires.
She holds a Ph.D. in Language Sciences and has served as a reviewer for HOW since 2021. Before joining UNAD she taught English in public secondary schools in Boyacá for eleven years, an experience that still frames how she reads the classroom.
